Norbert Pászk
Medicinal Plant Expert, Researcher, Head of Department and University Lecturer
I am a medicinal plant expert, researcher and university lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Miskolc, Hungary.
Since 2010, I have been involved in the cultivation, collection, processing and application of medicinal plants. Throughout the years, I have delivered numerous educational programmes, lectures, workshops and guided herbal tours across Hungary.
My research focuses on:
- medicinal plant cultivation;
- phytotherapy;
- herbal tourism;
- rural development;
- medicinal plant enterprises and their economic and social impacts.
I work as Head of Department at the University of Miskolc and lead the Herbal Science and Phytotherapy Research Group.
I am also:
- founder of the Miskolc Medicinal Plant Conference;
- contributor to the development of Hungary's first postgraduate training programme for Herbal Consultants;
- author of several books and scientific publications related to medicinal plants and phytotherapy.
My goal is to connect scientific research, higher education and public knowledge dissemination in order to promote the responsible use of medicinal plants and support the development of the medicinal plant sector.
